Who may use Wazna

You must be an adult, and a parent or legal guardian of every child you add. You are responsible for everything done under your household's accounts, including your children's.

Accounts need approval

Wazna is invitation-based at present. When you sign up, your account waits until we approve it. We may decline without giving a reason.

What you may not do

• Add a child who is not yours, or whose parent or guardian has not agreed
• Use Wazna to harass, frighten or punish a child in a way that causes harm
• Record anything about a child that a reasonable parent would not record
• Try to reach another household's data
• Attempt to break, overload or probe the service
• Resell Wazna or present it as your own

What Wazna is not

Wazna is a record-keeping and scoring tool. It is not a psychological, medical, educational or therapeutic service, and the score is not an assessment of a child's worth, character or wellbeing. It does not replace a parent's judgement, and it does not replace professional help. If you are worried about a child, speak to a doctor, a counsellor or a teacher.

The consequences a parent writes are the parent's own, and are applied by the parent in their own home. Wazna records them and nothing more.

The price

Wazna is free at present. If that changes, we will tell you before it applies to you, and you will be free to leave and take your data.

Suspension and closure

We may suspend a household — making it read-only — or close it, if these terms are broken, or if the service is being used in a way that could harm a child. Where we can, we will tell you first.

You may close your household at any time from Settings, or by writing to hello@waznaapp.com.

No warranty

Wazna is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, or free of faults. Scores are calculated from the marks entered; wrong marks produce wrong scores.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Clear Systems is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Wazna. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Your content

The items, notes, rewards and consequences you write remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store them and show them to your own household.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Egypt. Disputes go to the courts of Egypt.
